Cabinet Depth Refrigerator

This is our review about Cabinet Depth Refrigerator.

Blending In

Let’s face it. The refrigerator is one household appliance in the kitchen you can’t do without. The refrigerator is almost as basic as the food and drinks you put inside it. And it’s the one main thing that people who come into your kitchen look for. In a sense, the poor refrigerator is an appliance that people (almost) take for granted. To many people, a refrigerator is just a … refrigerator. It’s much the same as any other refrigerator.

But a refrigerator doesn’t have to be just another refrigerator. Thanks to mankind’s ingenuity, brilliant minds came up with innovative ideas that that successfully changed the views (and I mean the actual view) of many about refrigerators. Refrigerators have so improved in a way that it has now become energy-efficient, eco-friendly and most importantly user-friendly. And one of the sure sign of the refrigerator’s coming of age is the emergence of Cabinet Depth Refrigerator.

A Cabinet Depth Refrigerator is one of the latest fads in refrigerators. As you probably guess by now, Cabinet Depth Refrigerators got the monicker from… yes, the cabinets that you have in your kitchen. Cabinet Depth Refrigerator simply means they have the same depth as your other cabinets or your counter. They are so called because the idea is to make them “blend” with the rest of the kitchen ensemble, giving the place a built-in, tied-together appearance and a cohesive look and feel. Most designs of cabinet depth refrigerators that you see today are impeccably done, easy to the eyes and pleasing to modern sensibilities.

The typical depth can range from 25” to 30”. Compared to regular refrigerators, however, they are a bit wider and taller in dimension. The smart thing to do first is to measure the space where you intend to put the refrigerator before buying the appliance. Oh and don’t confuse it with under-cabinet refrigerator. They are two different things. When you say under-cabinet refrigerators, those are generally more portable and compact. Cabinet depth refrigerators are bigger and full-sized.

A lot of the product models you see in the market today integrate a great deal of storage area inside. Because these refrigerators are generally bigger than standard models, you get more room and space for food storage. In addition, you’d be amazed at the impressive technology that manufacturers put together to come up with such a novel product.

Depending on the particular model and brand, your cabinet depth refrigerator may come in several different forms. The type of refrigerator is usually not affected; the dimensions are normally the only aspect that is going to vary. To make them flush against your cabinets and counters, they will need to be thinner than typical refrigerators appear. This usually affects the size of the refrigerator themselves.

Most cabinet depth refrigerators stand between 66” and 70” tall, including all the hinges that have to be moved so you can open the fridge door. The width of these models may vary from 32” to 36”, or even wider sometimes.

The refrigerator models come in varying styles and many different colors. Stainless steel models are more popular, which is not really surprising, but there’s complete line of different options that will be presented to you by as many manufacturers. Each line will have its own choices of design and style, which will allow you to have the option of fully customizing your refrigerator to fit into your kitchen.
